Will JB weld hold if I plug a mag tube on an 1100 that has a hole drilled in it next to the o-ring grove. It was drilled for a Morton recolil reducer and I want to convert it back to stock.
    thanks

Rough up the edge of the hole with emory paper and JB it, then sand smooth.
A little of that stuff is all you will need. We have used it on tramsmission shafts that where no longer available, let it set over night and turn it down in the lathe.

JB can be used for anything, tends to stick every where else also. I have had much luck with it.

I know for a fact that it works on the pot metal wad guides on a P/W 900. Don't ask me how I know. John

I'm not sure that was for a recoil reducer. I have seen a system where the hole vents gas so the empty does not fly out. APutting a shell in the tube for doubles made a plug cover the hole, and the gun would then cycle.
