The Jacksonville Gun Clun will be holding its monthly registered shoot, Saturday, May 8. Please click on the website for the gunclub and go to the trap shooting icon and click on the Focus Newsletter to read the program of events.

We have added some new games for shooters, new junior and sub-junior rates and as alway, free lunch for all trap shooters. In the upcoming months, we will be adding more prizes for shooters.

Come out and join us for a great shoot and plenty of fun!

But Flagler is having a PROFESSIONAL cook at their event along with their
PROFESSIONAL cashiering. I think I had better go there.

Wonder why Flagler changed their shoot date from the 15th to the 8th to shoot against you guy's. Did they talk to you about it? No logic sometimes. Don Kerce

We at Jacksonville Skeet and Trap are happy to provide a "no cost" lunch to those who shoot with us. Although the Lady who prepares the lunch is not a "professional", she does an outstanding job and her chili never seems to last very long. Sarah is always happy when the pot is empty, she say "they must have liked it and I'll have to make more next time". She does and I can't remember anyone leaving hungry. . The trap committee also prides ourselves in the preparation of our shoot schedule as to not interfere with those clubs near us. Our dates have not changed and we are working hard to ensure we have no cancellations for those who like to plan ahead. We wish all shooters the score you hope for and look forward to some day seeing you at Jacksonville. Jake Jacobs, V.P. Jacksonville Skeet and Trap Club.

    Jake,
Guess we could always pay Sarah for cooking her chili and for doing the cashering then we too would have a "professional" chef and cashering! LOL.. but then again, professionals are not allowed in the ATA! :)

    Paul,
Come on up, not only do we have Sarah's chili but we can always find a burger for you to go along with the hotdogs(aka Yankee Tube Steak). Glad to hear you are moving about, just remember that old saying from the 60's: "Better living through chemistry"

Al, get your threads mixed up? I reread the threads here and am confused to what you make reference of. Pleasent dreams, Jake

357 found that to be true my first visit to the Southwest. BUT, you know how cooks invent their own brew. Wifey has a good brew! Jake

There is not a better chili dog in the South. Period. Thanks Sarah.
