That it. No hammers should weight more than 16 ounces. Nothing will ever get built on time, but think of the lives that will be saved..........

We have black hammers at Lowe's. Wonder how long it will be before we have them recalled.

We've had two murders in eastern Idaho since the first of the year. Both victims were young women.

In the first case the woman disappeared, and her car was found a couple days later at a local mall in Chubbuck (just north of Pocatello). Last week a man, who turned out to be the father of her youngest child (about 18 months old), called local detectives saying he had information on her fate. When they met with him at his home on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation he told them he had beaten her to death with a baseball bat, and offered to take them to where he had buried her. He drove to the scene separately (what were they thinking???), and then back to his home where he stayed in his truck and pulled a pistol. The detectives called for backup and a standoff with negotiators and SWAT teams ensued. After six hours he emerged from the truck, gun blazing, and was killed. The coroners verdict on his death - "Suicide by cop". Authorities found the girl's body buried 12' deep at the construction site he showed them. He worked there and had access to heavy equipment.

In the second case a young woman was found dead by the side of a road in Idaho Falls, shot in the head. Police are searching for two Hispanic males seen running from the scene.

The message is clear - ban guns, baseball bats, Hispanic males, and people who live on reservations.

Drinking a cup of coffee this morning(early), and the newscast went to commercial(s).

I counted eight (8) different commercials during the break, and seven (7) were for upcoming shows later that day on that channel. All seven (7) showed actors with weapons shooting at, or pointing at, other actors.

This is acceptable behavior because it is from Hollywood wierdos, and they buy a lot of air-time from the networks, but God forbid we stop their money flow from the use of weapons in their flics!

Good people are not the problem, criminals are the problem, and they are throwing a huge party in Washington D.C. right now for one!

    Heaven help us all!
