    Hello:
Throw a carnival tent on top of the capitol building in Madison it has become a 3 ring circus. The republicans have now issued an arrest warrant for the 14 democratic senators in Wisconsin. They can be arrested, handcuffed and marched back to the capitol. They will not give them their paychecks unless they pick them up in person, also, took away their direct deposit to the bank. Yesterday, a few of the democrats took their desks outside to be near their constituents protesting that the capitol building is only allowing 20 people to enter the building, under guard. These senators were shown climbing in and out of windows. Governor Walker kept protesters sleeping outdoors overnight in 15 degree weather. X Governor Tommy Thompson showed up in the building on the fourth floor, WISN TV channel 12 film crew went to film the events but were escorted out of the building. Two million dollars has now been spent on providing security inside and on the grounds on the capitol. There is now an estimated 7 million dollars in repairs that have to be made to the marble in the building. Governor Walker is to layoff 1200 teachers tomorrow but may take some back after his bill is passed. A Marquette University professor from MIlwaukee says that there will be many lawsuits filed once the bill is passed. He stated that not allowing collective bargaining is taking away the people's right to organize. He also stated that children have the right to a quality education which they will not get under this bill, and that others have the right to medicaid insurance without large copay's.

Get your peanuts...... Get your popcorn.........

Steve, I cannot claim credit for this video revelation. Bob Schultz located it and put it on an earlier thread. I thought that it needed to be here also because it seemed so appropiate.

Its interesting that a Professor is treating law suits! Not busy enough back a school eh? Just like the ones that shut down timber sales back in 80's here.

He should be out of a job tomorrow just for the treat!!

Why is it the schools always need more money? They say if they pay the teachers more they will get better teachers, but that's really a crock of bull do do, IS the gas we're buying now better that the gas last year? It should be we are paying more for it.

I am so tired of hearing our darling children need bigger and fancier schools and higher paid teachers to learn more, it a city not to far from us, they built a $80,000,000 football stadium, does that make the kids smarter?

I think the U tube video covered it real good

It is sad what is happening to this country. Lately I been thinking about one of my favorite president's, Ronald Reagan. When I was a kid I believed we lived in the best country in the world. I believed if any country or anyone messed with us, we could swash them like a bug. I don't remember this stuff happening as a kid, this only happened in third world countries. As a young boy, I remember getting a cheap toy from a neighbor and on the back of it, it said "made in Japan". My dad took the toy and threw it away as he said it was junk. He never forgive the enemy after the war. One of my relatives purchased a foreign car and he would not allow him to park it in his driveway. My father fought and was wounded on Okinawa, and his brother was wounded at Anzio. My mother's cousin was killed at Guadalcanal. What would all these men say if they were still alive today to see the mess we are in?

The only reason we are in this mess is because we do not take the time to police our generation and get the vote out. Our parents would have become politically active. That's why the social-libs keep pouring money in the schools in order to dumb the kids down and train them in the way that they will follow without question. Everyone is too busy and wants to let the other guy do it.

This might come as a shock to you, but all your posting are complaining about the situation with no resolve, OH that's right you suggest putting a carnival tent over your Capital, that will get it done. as far as someone saying your Governor is not qualified because he doesn't have a college Degree is B.S.!! being a neighbor and doing business in your state when I was working, I think most residents "80%" are blue collar workers or farmers and are Not college grads. Plus didn't your Governor inform the public what was in his agenda, and he won by a land slide. so I guess the people voted for saving money. Hmmmmm then dumb uneducated fools. quit ranting and do something, or like they said at your gun club are you just here sucking up air. Hooo I do enjoy 90% of your posting and your book chapters.

It is sad to watch. I spent a lot of years working for American Family Ins and Madison was the homeoffice so I went there a lot. I always enjoyed it there, nice city, good people. Love the Avenue Bar too, great food

Wisconsin would be a Republican State except for the fact that Madison is jam packed with liberal pukes, and the South East corner (Milaukee, Racine, kENOSHA) is loaded with entitlement recipients.

We are in the same boat as Illinois. Once you get past Chicago it's a different story.

If you leveled the aforementioned areas with a low yield thermonuclear slum clearance device or two the State's political complexion would reverse,.

    I'm all for it.

JF, don't blame Walker, he is doing what he was elected to do. Wisconsinites let their feelings be known at the polls. He is representing those feelings and rightfully so. This won't be the only tactic he uses to help bring the budget back in line. Stay tuned.

stokin, I have a subscription to Imprimis. Hillsdale will send it to you free, and you can donate if you like.

Hillsdale is one of the few true conservative learning institutions in America.

I highly reccomend the newsletter. Good essays every month.

There's been a news report that someone has been dropping .22 hollowpoints in various places in the capital building. Whether this is an attempt to frame the opposition or to get the building locked down thus disrupting it, who knows?
