    Hi Folks,

I am interested in buying an Ithaca/SKB 34" Century trap gun.
It would have to be in very good to excellent condition. I would also like it to have the original choke and length of pull.

If you have such a gun I would be interested in discussing the details with you. Pictures and references would be required.

I live in Vermont and I do have an FFL and a small gunsmith business. The gun would not be for re-sale. I want one to use for myself.

    Thanks for your consideration.

Frank Vallone at www.sycamorehilldesigns.com has a nice Century trap.

He is located in Victor NY.

He also has a few model 37 and knicks.

Thats probably a little high - more like $600 to $750 for a pristine one.

The price was $575.00 + 25.00 shipping. I haven't seen the gun yet but the owner sent many detailed pictures. It looks like it will be what I want.

There was a Century I and a Century II. Which on did you get?

I got a Century I. The real nice Century IIs seem to bring big prices on the gun auctions. My son has a I, I tried it recently and in spite of not being a trap shooter I could shoot it very well. On his gun the pull trigger is truly outstanding. I worked on the gun for him and I like the lock work inside of the gun. When I got to shoot it I was sold. I also shot a BT 99 Plus (which is for sale for $1150.00 with a nice case and extra chokes) the same day and the old Century worked much better for me, and my son.
