I have an Ithaca T3 Mirage, all original, no refin of any sort, w/a T4 hanger and serialed forend, 513xx just like the action/bbl. It was LNIB when I got it about 15yrs ago, orig case, papers and all.

I'd be betting it ain't the only one. The one certain thing that I believe we all know about Perazzi is that there ain't nothing certain.

Few type III guns were convert to type IV by Perazzi during transition period. Like the early type IV guns, they all have top lever trip at 12 O'clock .

Steve, I'm not sure what it is you're saying.
Three of the five T3 guns here have T4 hangers. Only the one is an Ithaca the other two are Winchesters. All of them are original w/ no indications of any "conversion". They were simply built w/ T4 hangers.

I have an Ithaca Mirage, that is type 3. Forend started to come loose, I took
it to Pat Laib at the MN state shoot, he fixed the forend with a conversion
he has come up with. Very solid and inexpensive. If you have a type 3, you
may want to give Pat a call and he can explain.
