It would take a little more research to be sure about that one. Exactly what is beyond Sousa Grade?

Oh come on Bill -- you're just jealous because I finally found an Ithaca as nice as the one you use as a doorstop! :)

Gary, Do not get me wrong it is a beautiful gun! Just saying before I spend that kinda cash I need to be sure. I would feel better about it if it had the mermaid! LOL

    Bill:

I wonder exactly what he seller means when he says "The gun has a chapter dedicated to it in the book authored by Frank Conley, 'The American Single Barrel Trap Gun,'" Does he mean this EXACT gun (doubtful), this SPECIFIC grade, or just the Flues SBT?

In any case, I enjoy just looking at the thing. I wonder who the original owner was.

Hmmm, I guess I assumed it was an Ithaca because of Flues. Maybe that's incorrect. Good point.

The beautiful gun, an E. F Flues is just that, an E.F Flues single barrel trap. Emile F Flues was a gunsmith from New York and this would have been a prototype of what would later be made by Ithaca when he went to work
    for the company.
