Who do you suggest to do a total restoration on a 1917 4E? Wood is pretty good, metal average with the forend latch broken. Thanks

    Hi!
Give Frank Vallone a shout at Sycamore Hill Design. They specialize in restoring old Ithacas, and he is located in Victor NY, not far from where all those beautiful guns were made. He is a great fella to deal with. He is very nice, and does fabulous work. Look him up on the web. He also has a facebook page too. Good luck to you.
