Is there any possibility this is an original front bead on a 1946 Remington 31 TC?

Anyone know what an original front bead would have looked like?

How are the beads taken off and installed?

    Thanks

    Lou

Owned a bunch of TCs and never saw anything that looked like that. If I recall, the front bead was in a sleeve and was threaded into the rib.

    Lou,

Here is a few shots of the front bead on a 1947 Remington 31TC. This gun is 100% all orginal and has never been altered.

I know they changed the front sights on the later models of the 31TC's , but I have never seen that sight before....

    Hope this helps....

Not to hard to make . I made a set of Ivory beads for my model 12 on a jewelers lathe. Threading is the hardest part.
