Hi, I found a like new K80 trap special for $12,500 and I wanted a little advice before I spend the money. The gun is a combo with a 34" top single with a 32" o/u comes with 5 titanium chokes of my choice and an americase. I've never seen the gun in person but there is 2 small scratches on the right side of the stock on the comb the seller says, "It can be buffed out" and they might repair the scratched before I buy it and one ding on the fore end. Here's the pictures so if anyone can give me some advice and tell me if the guns is worth the asking price? The seller said the stock is neutral so does the stocks on these guns come neutral cause I shoot left handed.

I have a few more pictures if needed. thanks Eric

I know a guy who sold a Trap Special, top single with titanium chokes and trap special case, super standard engraving and upgraded stock for 11,500. It was like new, no dings or scratches. If not in a hurry might be better buys out there.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to pass on this gun. I really want an unsingle and I want a gun without a ding and scratches.

Dupont typically has the highest prices on his guns. Worst place to buy. Good service, but you pay dearly for it. Shop around, the economy is down.

I ask folks wanting to sell guns, "Do you want to LIST it, or do you want to SELL it?"

If you are going to buy a used gun, make sure you shoot it before you buy it. HMB

BYG, I'm betting you never met the old man. Cam has always given me fair prices both buying and selling.

Regardless wheather or not you buy this one make sure you can shoot an un-single before you buy one. Not everyone is effective with the unsingle.

I have gotten good prices from Jaqua's, sometimes I have to look longer at their guns before finding one. Got a good deal on a Blaser Combo.

Phil is of course absolutely correct. Many shooters have already found out they can be next to impossible to shoot. If you can, they're the greatest!!

A lot of people have a hard time shooting the top single also. Do all numbers match, how old is the gun.

Numbers matching on that gun means nothing. It is never going to be collectable. :) jmho. Bill

This is the one Mike and Pam Young have at Alamo.....they are great people and the service behind the sale is top notch. Worth the few extra bucks now that's for sure.

I have both the top single and unsingle barrels. I used to shoot the old style unsingle gun but love the top single in the trap special. Just my opinion...
