1100. Carrier is a dead giveaway. The "slide release" on the LH side is actually a "disconnector", meaning if you have the trigger set, you can press this button to "unset" it.

Rick: I just ran over to the house and snapped a photo of my Timney trigger in my 870 Grand American gun that won that handicap event long ago.

This photo is of the underside of the gun (it's in the glass sealed case, so I can't easily open it). It shows no release button, so I honesty feel it is for the 1100.

I don't think it is a Steel Trigger Housing, to be sure put a magnent on it, it looks like the factory Aluminum Trigger Housing. Timney did make some steel housings, but I see casting mould marks in the one posted.

Ok I haven't read all the post but I think it is a 870 trigger group with the 1100 section attached to it so it will work in a 1100 and just use the 870 tab to de activate the release if it is already set!

So tell me how I done after you figure out what you have and by the way im not intersted in buying it because im no 1100 fan rather have a jack ass kick me instead or even a mild shooting 870.

It is a Timney steel trigger for 1100 it is easy to figure out the closer button on the bottom is for a 1100. The thing that fools everyone is the disconect button for the release trigger it loos the same as a 870 slide release lever but it is added to a 1100 trigger to disengage the release hook if you want to unset the trigger after setting it to start over. If you need to unarm the gun with out fireing it after the trigger was set.

I guess I did blow it, but I did say use a magnent on the housing to be sure, the steel ones I have seen did not have the mould dimples.

I did know where there was one for sale, what is the going price on one made of steel?
