That's a Caddy, not a Chevy. I'm no expert on Caddy's, but '59 would be close.

    Steve W,

Not sure if you are serious or not, as that is obviously a 59 Cadillac. Can't remember for sure, but believe it had either a 419 or 429 CI V8, and of course the 3 speed automatic on the column. Many of these had the "eye" on the dash that was meant to automatically dim the headlights, or put them on hi-beam if no oncoming lights. Didn't work particularly well, but I always thought it was a cool idea.

Never owned one, but my parents had an Olds 98 around the same vintage. You needed a very slow stop watch to time the shifts, they took forever between both shifts, and the first was very slushy....if that is a car term.

Guess I'm the only one calling a '59 Cadillac Chevy. LOL.

The only reason I think it's '59 is my father had one when I was a little kid.

Yesterday when I was enjoying sunshine through my sunroof, saw this beauty rolled by at a stop sign, I was going to follow him to take a good look at it, but he insist to let me go first, two stop signs later, he was right next to me at the light.

Good to have my iphone with me.

I'd call kitty an indentured servant if I had to put a label on it.

I like Kitty's vampire fangs. Feeps doesn't have those.

    This was my '59 Chev.

Bought it out of a dealer's storage yard and it had no radio.

Kitty doesn't like to call them "fangs". He prefers that it's called a "slight overbite".

I don't think that's the El Dorado model. As I remember, the Eldo had the real wide chrome rocker panel covers.

Yeah, '59 Chevy had horizontal fins. They swooped from low center to the upper outside of the quarter. Kinda looked like eye brows with tail lights that were horizontal teardrops. Beautiful cars.

Wish I could find a picture of my 59 Chev Impala. Black 2 door hardtop with red interior. 315 HP, 348 cu in with 3 deuces, 3 speed close ratio tranny, would do 65 in low. Hell, I wish I had that car today. Larry Evans
