Can't get Gibson's around here, So I tried the 40 Creek. Not bad at all.

By the case. Was raised in Pendleton. I think its great and I was a crown royal guy. The new 1910 Rye is good as well. Only way to know is try them both. Good luck. Let us know what you think. Corey

Forty Creek is an excellent whiskey, but I like Crown Royal better.

Ok, the rest of the story. A few years back we went to Canada fishing, and bought the Gibson's Sterling at the duty free shop for evening cocktails.

It was so good I hought one on the return trip. then my friend went and brought me back a bottle, and then his sister got me 2 more. When it was gone I tried the 40 Creek and it's good, but pricey and not quite up to the Sterling. Wiser's is ok but not up with the other 2.

So I'll try the Pendleton next. Crown has too much bite for me, I drank a lot of it. The saga continues.......

If you like Crown Royal you will really like Pendleton. Very smooth Canadian whiskey that goes well on the the rocks or with a splash of water. On the subject of water - use the good stuff, not tap and that goes for the ice too. This whiskey is so good and clean that it is easy to ruin it even with a little bit of junk from the tap.

I likee Crown and Pendleton better than Forty Creek but that is a matter of personal preference.

Just the last few days I see Gibson's Finest in the local outlets, 2 places.

If you boyz get a chance you should try it.

I found the Pendleton Very good, and a bargain at 35 % less than 40 creek.
