    > WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States reversed policy on Wednesday
    > and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms

    > gave every nation a veto.
    >
    > The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State

    >
    > On Wednesday Obama Took the First Major Step in a Plan to Ban All
    > Firearms in the United States . The Obama administration intends to

I think I am starting to realize why everybody has been buying guns and ammo for the last year.

Our U.S. Constitution states that a foreign treaty must be ratified by a 2/3 majority of the Senate before our citizens have to abide by it. Who knows how Obama & Co. will try to circumvent this requirement? Break 'em all! Tom Ruble

Our only hope would be for some of the conservative states to break away. As a nation most of the people live in the liberal states of the Northeast, West Coast and Midwest. I think we are getting ready for total censorship by the government of the conservative media with only liberal points of view allowed. You can see it starting. Any view opposing liberalism and socialism will be seen as hate speech and prohibited. Chavez has to be jealous of the power Obama is concentrating in the federal government. And in only 1 year.

NO! We have no Indepent Thinkers in this country any more and to many spineless leaders!

Sorry to be so negative but thats what I see!

The morjity of the State have forgotten "they" tell the feds what they can and cannot do to them! But the feds wave the almighty greenback infront of the states and they fall in line.

If the people would just wake up and releize the power the private sector has over the feds, most problems would go away. If all the CEO's refused to sell one more item to any federal agency, how long would the feds last. Just think about it, hold back just the paper sales (office paper, tolet paper, ect.)

The federal government only consumes, it does not produce a single thing except coruption.

The problem become obivious, GREED is the downfall of any atempt of being United!

Just look at the news, a revolution has started. The question is how many more are going to get involved.

I've got your back. How disgusting these socialist, communist bastards are. I am so angry, I can hardly speak. There is a revolution coming I am afraid. Most of the public is ignorant of these issues and will be lead to the slaughter like so many sheep. WAKE UP AMERICA. Dave

Unfortunately, half the populace is too apathetic and uneducated to "WAKE UP." Plus, many of them are distracted by their mesmerizing "technology" and increasingly addicted to their ever-growing government entitlements. And Big Brother knows this. That's why they can boldy act against traditional American interests and values with impunity. So go ahead and kick back, watch America "change," and be thankful that you lived a good part of your life while this great country was still great. We may be the last generation of humans to have ever witnessed that. We were blessed.

The conservative movement needs a leader. I like Paul Ryan from Wisconsin. For a young dude in politics, he seems very sharp. Even Obama couldn't argue with him at the Health Care summit.

Even though we talk about revolt, it will never happen until most reach the last hierarchy. (Physiological Needs) We are way to comfortable sitting on our couch, watching our color TV's, eating steaks whenever we want and a million more comforts of life of which we are not willing to give up.

The conservative movement needs a leader AND an agenda. If we can agree on an agenda, finding a man with the balls and brains to lead should be fairly easy.
To design an agenda, we need to be able to concisely verbalize our political, cultural and social preferences as individuals and then as a movement. With a unified mission statement, we, on a state-to-state basis, can go to a trustworthy Republican member of the House of Representatives and find out from him who the weakest Democrats in that state are. We then go to our local Republican Party meeting(usually one night per month at the Library or the Lodge, or wherever), tell them why we came, tell them what we believe, and tell them we want to whip the shit out of every putrid communist deathocrat we can find come November. Don't choke on this part, but if every gun-slingin' Richard on this website coughed up a box of shells a week (or $20.00 a month)I say we'll have'm by the short hairs on a down hill pull.

Lads, this ain't no laughin' matter. We ain't playing the Durham Bulls tonight...We're in the BIGS and they throw it "high-and-tight" up here.

Your president has threatened you and lied to you and behaved sediciously in a room just down the hall from where Bill and Monica did the wild thing while you sat on yo' butts in front of the TV and sucked it up like a 7-11 Slurpee. WTF IS UP?

OICU has it right! This land is MY land and there ain't a communist been born that's gonna take it away...at least not while I can still pull a trigger.
