I've got a bunch of Accurate #2. Can I make a load out of this in STS hulls?

    Any recipes?

If you can find a load in the ACCURATE manual then yes you can . Why would you ask a total stranger for loading info when it,s on (or not) the Accurate Web Site ??

According to the Lyman 4th Edition,

    AA#2 19 gr

    RP hull

    Rem 209P primer

    Rem Fig 8 wad

    1 1/8 oz shot

    1205 fps

    10,800 psi

    Another one is;

    AA#2 18 gr

    RP hull

    WW209 primer

    WAA12 wad

    1 1/8 oz shot

    1181 fps

    11,400 PSI

I have loaded #2 in the past. It has a ferocious muzzle blast.

AA#2 is very close to Bullseye in burn rate but cannot be substituted grain for grain......Never substitute. I found Bullseye loads for the 12 ga way back when I had a surplus after quitting commercial loading of revolver/pistol ammo.

Most shotgun powders are quite fast burning but again, none are interchangeable.

Use the data books the companies put out or buy some Lyman or other manuals.

I keep all of them, sometimes have to go back and look through some that are years old.
