    Hi Folks,

It's me again in need of more good advice. A longtime friend has a Remington 90T new and unfired, still in the box. It's a low rib version with an adjustable comb. He said he will sell it to me for $1750. I trust my friend completely but isn't that a lot of money? Maybe he doesn't realize how much money he is asking. Any advice? Thank you.

    Bye Folks

    HH,

Consider your longtime friend as a great friend. It is hard to find one that has been shot for that price, let alone one NIB!

Buy it to shoot, and offer your friend the first shot with it!

    Hank,

Don't know about your area but when you can find one here that is new they regularly bring 2000+, the high rib version is higher accordingly. Used ones in excellent condition bring $1500 -$1800 with no trouble.

Sounds like a good buy you've found

    Hi Folks,

Well I did it. I called my friend and we are going to meet tomorrow where I will pick up the gun. Wow! I must admit I'm really excited. Big dollars for me but it's almost like I HAVE to have it. What a feeling! Thanks to all of you, my friends, for your help in my making the decision.

    Bye Folks,

Remington closed them out several years ago for $1595.00 You are getting a good buy on a new on in the box. And no tax. What is the tax where you live on $1595.00 almost what he is asking for it now and the dollar and guns have gone up about 10% or more since then.

Hank: You bought the gun at a very good price. You might even take your friend out to dinner for being so generous. Ed

Plan on spending another $200.00 plus shipping and insurance to and form Kolar for upgrades. Even with the cost of the upgrades it is still not a bad deal for a NIB 90T.

I sold my low rib with adjustable stock & Kolar release a couple of years ago for $2500. Wish I had it back now.

I traded my Perazzi MT-6 and BT-99 Plus for one about six weeks ago. No regrets. Mine came with a second barrel and tubes, Americase, release trigger parts. Both barrels have same serial number as receiver. Low number receiver, and looks like it has updates done.

    Nice, heavy, pleasure to shoot.

    Best,
    Dennis
