Iraq Violence Down Cemetary Workers Hit Hard

    One of the biggest problems we face in this Country is the biased reporting in the mainstream media. We see it continously on gun issues, security issues, economic issues and Iraq. However, the linked article above takes it to an art form. Since the "Surge" began, violence in Iraq has dropped significantly, particularly in the number of civilians killed in suicide bombings.

    But, instead of just reporting this as good news, here is an article that laments the fact that cemetary workers are making less money because fewer people are being killed. You would think it is a joke, but it isn't. Read the article for yourself. Excerpt below:

    "A drop in violence around Iraq has cut burials in the huge Wadi al Salam cemetery here by at least one-third in the past six months, and that’s cut the pay of thousands of workers who make their living digging graves, washing corpses or selling burial shrouds."
