    All,

September 19th (every year) is International Talk Like A Pirate Day

    http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html

Besure to start the day with a hearty, "Haarrrrghh, ye scurvy wench, whar's me breakfast?"

    Have fun!

Tim (a.k.a. The Dread Pirate Formerly Known As Graybeard.)

I've been studying Pittsburghese. Does pretending to be a Pirate's fan count?

    Devi,

Well, the Pirates pretend to be a major league baseball team (kinda like the Royals) so I guess that would be OK.

Talk like a pirate day? Sounds like a subversive sect of the Flying Spaghetti Monster!

    Nuns....sexually repressed angry old women.

But somehow I always got along with the nuns in our Catholic grade school.

My older sisters seemed to always be having a run-in of some sort with them.

How much do pirates pay for their earrings?

First pirate, to second pirate, "Where be yer' buccaneers?

Second pirate, "Under me buckin' hat."

Throw back several jiggers of Captain Morgan with some scallywags and sea wenches, you'll be talking the talk.

For those who don't know or understand, the above graph is direct proof that the increase in global temperatures is inversely proportional to the number of pirates on Earth. Getting rid of pirates is heating the Earth!

We were working 12 on 12 off seven days a week at the power plant during overhaul. Budie's wife called one night and informed him she was getting pregnant that night and if he wanted to be the daddy he'd better get his a$$ home. John left work early that night.

Pheasantmaster, hope you read curvy's last post!!!!

Ayyyyeeee Matey, I can feel the Earth cooling today, as millions talk like pirates. The Earth can't tell the difference between real and fake pirates, or else it has a really well-developed sense of humor!
