Intercollegiate Skeet shoot on ESPN-U

    They are actually showing shooting on ESPN-U.

    It is the intercollegiate skeeting shooting finals for men and women.

    It didnt look like they were that good. I think 1st place shot a 94/100 and a 23 on the last 25, for a total of 117/125. I must be missing something???

    Eric,

    I think it was International skeet, not American skeet. That's a more difficult game.

    Low gun start, random up-to-3-second delay after calling for the target (can't bring the gun up until the target emerges from the house), faster targets.

    Like timb99 said, alot faster targets!! Mix that with the others he mentioned and the doubles shot from 3,4,5, they have a mixed up combo of targets much different than regular skeet. They changed the rules to make it even harder 2 or 3 years ago. A 94 is a excellent score for college studends who have to study for classes and don't have the time for pratice like the pro's. Break-em all. Jeff
