Is insurance available for your guns while traveling on the airlines? Got home from the Grand last year and guns did not make it back until the next day....thought I would look into insuring them before flying again.
What Tom said...however, when you are rushed in the morning trying to get the damn thing checked in, it is quite likely that the ticket agent will NOT know what you are talking about, do your homework in advance so you can "help" them through the process, I have been told many times that this insurance is NOT available, only to ask for a supervisor that does get it.....take pics of the gun and case before you leave for evidence should it get lost.....
Sportsman Insurance Company. I think you need a NSSA, NSCA, or a QU #. I think ATA would work.
