I am installing a new trap house for the first time and would like help in resolving several issues.

    1. When setting the distance for post 3 (16 yards) the distance should be measured from the center of the target on the trap machine?
    2. When laying out the grade for the trap stations the shooting stations should be at the same level as the target setting on the machine?

    Thank you for the help

    Lonny,

That is correct. Plus or minus 1 or 2 inches on the elevation will not hurt either way. My drawing shows the trap house to be 7`4 inches in width and 6` 10 inches deep. From the inside front it shows 16 inches back to be the center of the machine. If you are using a pat trap you may want to check that out.
