The 2011-2012 season of the Inland Waters Trap League will start Sept. 10 & 11. Host club for the start of the new year is the Rochester Brooks Gun Club located on No.6 Road, 3 miles West of Honeoye Falls. Shooting starts at 9:00am and sign-up closes at 3:00pm both days. This year marks the 65th year of the league and each shooter will receive a nice 65th anniversary pin. As in the past, there will be an optional 50/50 raffle and a raffle for a $50 gift certificate at Beikirch's. Hope to see you in a few days. Larry Evans

    Larry,

I have sent Dave Monahan up to represent us from South Carolina. He probably won't be able to make all of the shoots. I am afraid when it starts to get cold he will leave you guys.

    Have a good time.

    Ron Burdick in sunny SC

Ron, Tell Dave to bring his winter shooting gear. It's only going to be in the mid 70s this weekend. Larry

    Ron, Bill, and Larry !!!

I am ENJOYING this 67 degree weather to no end after the HOT and HUMID summer we had in South Carolina...

Well you guys are all in trouble up north, we bought a camp up here last week, had enough of the SC summers already, BUT the winters are grand and as soon as it get's below 80 in SC we shall return to our home down there.

See ya Saturday Bill, Larry, and the rest of the gang...

Don't worry Ron, I won't show them our southern secrets...LOL...I'll sandbag so they don't think we have any secret weapons...

Dave in cool, rainy NY, Dry and HOT SC, and all points in between

Glad PA is flooded out so we can get to see you !!!

Really though, I do feel real sorry for the PA folks who work so hard each year to host so many great shoots. That is a sad situation for them.

Larry, Look for a heavey first shoot turnout !!!

Dave here in NY, SC, and all points in between...

The conditions at RB were nearly perfect for our first shoot. The first score of the year, 50 straight( squad 1, post 1 ) was by Tom Wallace of Mendon, it was also his first 50. He was joined by two other first-timers Rich Knarr and Kevin Lyons and old timer Jim Titman. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as nice when the Evans Family shoots. We'll see if Mother Nature is kind to us. Larry

The conditions were great on Saturday. Fall is by far my favorite time for shooting. I was pretty happy with the 50 for not picking up my trap gun in 6 weeks. :)

    Larry,

Any chance of getting a website for the league (something similar to the LCTL site)?

Awesome! I'm not a "web guy" by any means but I own/run a few websites of my own. If you need any help with anything just let me know.

    Kevin,

The link is above. It is a nice feature to be able to check scores online. I just wish the LCTL website would provide more statistics on the scores (i.e mean, median, mode scores, etc.).
