    The Outlet R & G Club will host the 2nd shoot of the year this Saturday & Sunday. The optional Stein and Hayes trophies will be challenged for the 1st time this year. Shooting starts at 9:00 am. Sign-up ends at 3:00. See you there and bring a shooting friend with you. The weather should be nice. Larry Evans

    Dear Larry,

    We hope all is well in the north country. Getting a little cool at night around these parts (50s), but well into the 70s and 80s during the day. We hope you keep Jet Boat Bill and Red Weiderick in line for us. They are a tough duo to tangle with. We will be wearing our shorts when we shoot Sunday at Mid-Carolina, and hope not to get heat stroke.

    Our best to our friends, Dave and Judy in SC

    Is a practice round available for an extra fee?

    Larry;

    There was talk yesterday of opening a practice trap, so one would not have to be on a league squad unless it's against the league rules.

    Also, our cook quit, so we're not sure if there will be food available - might happen, but don't count on it.

    Larry S, The practice trap is OK but it should be available both days, all day if possible. Too bad about the Cook. He did a great job with breakfast. Maybe I'll stop at McD's just in case. See you in about 8 hours. Larry E.

    What's the cost to shoot a practice round? See you in 7 hours.

    $9.00 for 50 targets, but if the Club opens a practice trap, it's whatever they charge for rounds of 25. See you in 1-1/2 hours. Larry

    The weather was great today, I shot a 47, but should of shot at least a 48 but I missed 1 target on my second round. I can't complain though since I'm still new to this.

    Quite a day today - 25 full squads and 2 short squads. Bob And Bonnie Stenglein cooked and the food was excellent.

    Great to hear that Bob and Bonnie were cooking again. The last time Bob cooked he sold out of everything...just goes to show you a NY State Hall of Fame fellow will step up and help out. I guess that's the mark of a good guy and wife...Bob was the one who convinced me to get into the ATA a few years ago when I had doubts...Nice people these two.

    Hope today is good also.

    Off to shoot at our southern club, Dave and Judy in SC
