The Lima Gun Club will host the 3rd shoot of the year this Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 17 & 18. The weather will be Octoberish and hopefully, DRY. The Bonbright trophy will be available for those wishing to shoot an extra 50 targets. A reminder to anyone wanting to shoot in the league who has not signed up yet, you must do so at this shoot or next shoot at the very latest. Participation is the highest its been in the last 6 or more years. 9:00 am start. Anyone wanting to bring items for the "Toys for Tots" program, feel free to do so. Also, there is a directors meeting scheduled for Hol-Field on Monday the 19th at 7:30 pm. CU in a few days. Larry Evans

    Hi guys,

Going to be shooting an ATA shoot in my shorts Saturday...

    (In South Carolina that is)

I already forgot what winter wear is.

Just had to rub it into my northern friends that I left back in NY in July.

Good luck guys, Dave in SC

I'll be shooting this shoot in my shorts this weekend. The lack of warm weather won't stop me.

    Dear Old GAH,
I will see you tomorrow in Lima, NY!!
To Judy & Dave(Shotgun people) in South Carolina,
I will not complain about the SNOW in southern NYS TODAY. AND you cannot complain when it gets WINDY down there!! Just keep your car full of gas and drive due west as fast as you can!! I was down there two weeks after the Charleston WIND in 1989. Flattened everything on a hill from Charleston, SC north to Charlotte, NC. Be sure you have a generator too!
Jealous in Webster, NY Temp is 36 F!!!! wind East @ 10 mph.
    Jet Boat Bill
    P. S. Just think of the positive side....If the wind is out of the east tomorrow, it will be nice shooting targets @ Lima....if west or NW, it will be Sporting Clays time!!!

Dear old friend Jet Boat Bill (AKA BL350)

We are headed inland to Orangeburg tomorrow to the Mid-Carolina Gun Club (Our new club)..Look this up on the web...quite a club for sure, and they promise no wind...LOL

If you return down this way we will surely give you some good old southern hospitality...

Well, keep Mr. Red, and Good Old Barney in line for us..And try not to let those pesky Vendels take you to the cleaners...Some how Ma and the boys usually keep you on your good behavior...LOL

Enjoy Bill, Dave and Judy in SC

I'm headed there in a few minutes. It's pitch black outside, but there is no snow at my house. Larry

Pretty good weather to shoot in today. Not much wind and not too cold or wet.

    Dave,

I am leaving NY with a "50" straight at Lima. I think we are leaving Wednesday. That when United movers are scheduled to be at our house.

I will let you know what my new E-mail address is when we are in SC.

    Ron,

You won't regret coming down..don't pack away your summer cloths just yet..supposed to be in the high 70s and low 80s all week.

Good shooting at Lima, you are leaving the gang with a good feeling...my scores for yesterday aren't for publication, wind got me big time...Darn that Jet Boat Bill !!!

When you get settled maybe we can meet half way for lunch some day...

    TTYL, Dave
