Don't forget!! The annual awards banquet is tonight at the Burgundy Basin. Cocktails from 6:00-7:00 with dinner at 7;00. Anyone who has prize money due them can pick it up at the door. We will have several raffles (AAs & 50/50)etc. Directors, don't forget door prizes from your club. CU there. ( there is a DETOUR at one of the rt. 490 exits but I'm not sure if its East or West). Thanks to Beikirch Ammunition for donating all the ammo for those who shot a 50 in the league.

Once again, Hans at Beikirch's came through with his "Class Act". He and the Beikirch's folks have been long standing supporters of us shooters, and we have always tried to support them.

Thanks for the report on the shoots Larry. Us long distance folks who like to see how our friends are doing, are grateful.

Dave, we missed you. We had a great turnout as we were over the guaranteed number of attendees. Dan Ott won a flat of AAs in a raffle. Chuck Allen won a flat of Rem.GCs. Nearly $700 in the 50/50 raffle. Bruce Vande, Jack Nichols and Jim Schultz were awarded Lifetime Achievement Awards for their many years of shooting or being involved in the league. Chris Rumsey was awarded the Betty Beikirch Memorial Scholarship. Larry

    Larry,

Is Chris Rumsey any relation to Curt who left the endowment for scholarships so many years ago ?

Gosh, I remember Betty Beikirch so well. She treated us "kids" starting out in the early '60's as if we the most important people on earth. When signing up at Rochester Brooks for shoots, she always knew us by name and made us feel like one of the guys...Great Lady

    Thanks for the report !!!

Dave in SC (and WET NY)
