It was quite windy at Newark this past wekend. Some of the targets did quite well in avoiding the shot strings. One 50 was posted by Steve Kornbau, followed closely with 49s from Harry Coates, Pete Hamann, Scott Parker, Chris Vendel, Urb Womer, Chris Landon, Tim Herbstsommer and Gary Olschewske. One of the 49s was a first bird miss and one was the last bird. The three highest team scores were Walworth 242x250, Holfield & Newark 241x250. Ben Boolock won the 50/50 and Curt Evans won the Beikirch gift certificate. Steve Kornbau and Todd Hosbach tied for the Bonbright trophy and will shoot off at the next shoot at Four Point R & G. between 1-3:00pm Sunday. You may start bringing toys for the "Toys For Tots" collection. According to the weather forecasts, we are going to get lots of rain in a few days. Hopefully it will be gone by 9am next Saturday. Hope to see everyone next week. Larry Evans

    Hi Larry,

I see Steve Kornbau is keeping up his good shooting at Newark...Good for him !

"Sandy" should be over by next week for you folks in NY. Let's hope y'all fair well.

We are back down south now..Sandy is off our SC coast and giving us light, 45 MPH winds but no rain so far.

Good luck, and thanks for keeping us long distance shooters informed on the Inland Waters results.

Have a wonderful winter, Dave & Judy in SC
