Hi guys just bought a Caeser Gurini Summit trap in Sept last fall & it has the gray receiver. l've only put about 300 rounds through it & haven't shot since April....when l took it out of the cabinet Sunday it appeared to have white little spots on the gray which look like pen tipped sized little marks on the receiver & trigger guard..!!l'm wondering if anyone else has had this type of problem & how it was dealt with. Being l'm in Canada it's hard to get answers. I'd appreciate any input/experiences with this problem....thanks guys yjwinchester

Hi yj,Have a friend here in N.Z. with the same gun as yours and had the same problem with the finish coming off. He sent it back to the N.Z. agent and it has been returned to Italy for repair. He is still waiting for its return[several months now] It will be interesting to see how the refinish holds up. Otherwise a very nice gun to shoot. They all seem to have very nice wood for the price of them compaired to the other Italian guns. I guess you will have to get yours off to the Canadian agents and see what happens from there. There clearly is a problem with the finish that they can't just walk away from.Good luck with it, let us know the outcome, regards from down under, Donald.
