Hey guys I got some 4756 and wanted to try a new loan with an 1 3/8th payload... Looking to stuff it in a STS hull with a Winchester Primer and the Claybuster CB-1138-12 Wad... Anybody got some input on powder charge or speed info..

    Thanks in advance

My favorite 1 3/8 oz 4756 load require a gold medal plastic hull, RP12 wad and old style (not 209A) primer. It was devastating.

    30 grs STS hull, 1 3/8ths oz, SP-12 wad Win Primer 1250fps 10/900psi

28.5 grs Red AA wad 10,900 at 1250fps

30.5 Red AA wad win primer 11,100psi 1300fps

These are the best loads I found in my Hodgdon Manual
