    Hello to all

Can anybody give me info about replacing the top leaver spring on a Beretta ASE Gold (looks the same as a DT10 inside).

I need to replace a weak lever closing spring.

I suspect the process is to remove the trigger unit, the firing pins and then from the underside (using the correct size screw driver) screw off the nut that seems to hold the top lever on. Not sure where to from there!

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards Mike

    Mike,

You are right on about the screwdrivers.

Brownells has a set of super thin bits for standard hex drives - these are what you will need.

Don't have mine in front of me now, but as I recall, with the receiver up-side-down you can gain access to the bottom of the top lever and the screw which holds it in place. It's pretty obvious what has to come out and what may remain...

    Good luck,
