    Hello Ed.

In 97% shape, a LEO BT-100 would be worth about $2800.

    NIB, maybe $3100.

I can't remember what Leo's last name was or the name of his business. Help.

The gentleman in question was Leo Cerar and he operated a small gun shop in Library, Pa for many years. He was an excellent shooter, as were his parents, and was also quite a gunsmith. He did a lot of stock work and could help you with any firearms related problem that you may have had. The "Leo Specials" were made to his specs by Browning and were always in demand, much like the Joel Etchen Beretta 687's currently advertised. Most people that have a Leo Special don't want to part with it and really enjoy shooting them. If you are lucky enough to find one at a reasonable price go for it....you won't be disappointed.

Paid $2200 for a BT 99 Leo Special #156 back in 2003 for the wife. Should never have sold it. Would love to find/buy another Leo BT99 or BT 100.

Yeah, they're kind of like finding an albino sasquach.

Closest I've come is a 1994 Golden Clays (straight stock, no gra-coil).
