    Yeah, I know (wTF?)

Ever want to check a load without taking half a day off to go to the range?

Or want to see if that gas gun will shuck the new recipe?

I knew a guy that shot into a barrel of sand in his basement. His wife didn't like it cause he would yell "Fire in the hole!" and then POW!

There must be a way to fabricate something so you can just let one or 2 go without too much noise - PVC pipe full of holes inside another larger one?

    Looking for ideas.

    HM

4" steel pipe, 1/2" wall thickenss 5-6' long. Bury at a 45-60 degree into the dirt with about 2' extending above ground. Place barrel of weapon into pipe and pull trigger. Works great.

410...I've looked all over my basement floor and did not find any dirt or a good place to start digging. (Think I wasted my time.) Besides, I think the little woman would not want me to tear-up the carpet.

Where was your dirt located in your basement? Mine might be in the same place.

What kind of a bsement do you have, anyway?

Just shoot through a $9.99 Cherry Bomb glass-pak muffler into the sand.
The girl upstairs won't hear a thing.

CharlesR1100: cut a hole, use posthole digger, remove dirt, replace carpet, install pipe, shoot gun, make table to fit in pipe, wife will never know.
