Yep carry a gun because a Cop is too darn heavy.

Always remember when seconds count the police are just minutes away......

I think if we all carried guns we would have a much more polite society.

It is ironic that Representative Vernon Smith-D from Gary, who opposed the bill stated:

"Smith said he once became so angry at a man who was picking on him at a dance that if he had a gun, he might have used it."

"It shows you that when you have a gun, how many times you don't think," Smith said.

So, because this guy has a temper and if he has a gun he might use it rather than trying to figure out how to deal with the situation in non-violent manner. His shortcomings should not impede my right to own firearms. I realize he is a Democrat, but he is an idiot.

Whereas, Representative Robert Bischoff-D (from the Lawrenceburg, IN (Southeastern, IN) area was in favor of both bills. Maybe its not what your politics are, but rather, where you are from?

Vernon kinda outted himself. By that I mean here we have a man by his own admission stating he's not sure if he's capable of acting without thought. Now, what the heck is a guy who admits his emotions can get the better of him doing voting on bills? A loaded gun is one thing. A loaded representitive is sort of the same thing And this one admits to being half cocked. Jim
