Anybody know offhand what size lead or steel shot might be used in place of the little indexing ball found on many MEC progressive reloaders? It's what makes the carousel "click" on each progression instead of free-spin. The little rascal went bye-bye. I know I could call MEC or do some trial-and-error, but hey, I'm lazy and there's a lot of expertice on this site! Thanks, Rob

I don't think lead would work very good as it would soon squash?

I gave up trying to find ONE ball of the correct size and called MEC. They sent me a few for free. The MEC guy said it was closest to a number 4 shot if my memore serves me right.

I had the same problem a while back, 1/8" is correct. I went to a local bicycle shop and got several, I think they were about a nickle each.
