    Somebody was saying their MEC 9000 re-loader varies .3 - .4 - .5 on the powder
drops, They were asking , " WHAT IS THE PROBLEM ? "

My MEC manual says to check the travel of the charge bar. You want " FULL TRAVEL " for the most constant powder drops. The return spring will hold the charge bar to the right on the up -stroke

At the bottom of the downstroke the charge bar screw should be to the left,
" NOT PART WAY LEFT "

Raise the charge bar adjustment nut to move the charge bar to the left

    Thanks,
I too found this to be a problem, and corrected it. No problem now.

I "double nut" the charge bar adjustment nut to maintain the correct adjustment.

Last time I "double nutted" I ended up with my youngest son. :)

I don't load on a MEC 9000 but great instructional thread for those who do. Nice clear instructions with clear pictures. Nice job.

+1 on the double nut. Even the Nyloc nut that MEC uses will drift with a lot of use.
