The admiral just called she asked, "did you see the inaugaration?" I said-do we need another television--I don't want to kick the set in.

    "did you see the inaugaration?"

If was on near lunch time, are you kidding?! Even if it wasn't, why would we?

It's nothing more than a second 'Desecration' of America. I have never been fascinated by watching vultures feed on a carcass.

His speech was an unmitigated, if subliminal claim to the throne. It was not conciliatory towards the 49% of Americans who voted against him. Instead, it was an in your face challenge of "I won and I'll do whatever I want".

As they went in to the Capilol buildeing for lunch, I could not help but think of the end of the Tom Clancy book in which Jack Ryan becomes President.

I thought it was great. Our country has created some wonderful traditions. It made me prouder to be an American. The Presidents speech was right-on, the ceremony was touching, the parade was beautiful. We live in a great country.

Phil, the title of your post is incorrect. "Coronation" is more appropriate.

Timberfaller: Connies?? Not sure what you're trying to say. What's a Connie? Who told you President Obama wants to be a king?? Are you making things up or are you a moron?

I didn't watch nor will ever watch it. Knowing the idiot that we call our chief justice swearing in a pathological lying sack of sh*t is enough for me. When the POS leaves and we are 20 trillion in debt hopefully someone will see through the BS and elect a real leader.

Saw a little bit on the news. Looked like a big crowd of Obama supporters. Not surprising since only 3 or 4 of them had to take a day off from work.
