    In Case You Don

In Case You Don't Like Mitt Romney...

Columnist Andrew McCarthy gives us what probably is the most important question regarding the upcoming presidential election.

"Mitt won the nomination and I will enthusiastically support his candidacy. For my friends who may have hesitation on that score, I'd just ask you to keep four things in mind:

    1. Justice Scalia just turned 78

    2. Justice Kennedy will turn 78 later this year

    3. Justice Breyer will be 76 in August

    4. Justice Ginsburg turned 81 about a week ago.

Whoever we elect as president in November is almost certainly going to choose at least one and maybe more new members of the Supreme Court - in addition to hundreds of other life-tenured federal judges, all of whom will be making momentous decisions about our lives for decades to come.

If you don't think it matters whether the guy making those calls is Mitt Romney or Barack Obama, I think you're smokin' something funky."

So for anybody who is thinking of not voting because your favorite didn't get nominated, or writing in a candidate who can't win, just imagine this possibility:

    'SUPREME COURT JUSTICE ERIC HOLDER!'

That last one is a little scary! In addition, Justice Ginsburg has Pancreatic Cancer. Justice Stephens has already said he would retire and is just waiting for Obama to be reelected. The next president could appoint as many as 4 new Justices over next 8 years. This election is about more than Obama Care Tax.

    Did that get your attention?

A Libertarian is not a horse in this race as it is down to 2 choices. Thanks bgf for the alert. One or more Supreme Court Justice would be likely appointed by this next president. If we replace a Scalia with another one like the last 2, you'll see a definite change with how the Court views the 2nd Amendment. We will do irreversible damage to gun owners if this happens. Like or dislike Romney, a vote for Gary Johnson will be a vote for Obama when the dust settles. BT100dc

If you want to see Obama get re-elected then, absolutely, vote libertarian! That way, while you are on your way downtown to turn in your firearms at the local gestapo headquarters, you will feel like you did your part...

In states like California, it makes no difference if I vote for Romney.

I'll vote Libertarian here in lieu of either of the crony big boy parties.

    Just my humble opinion.

And voting libertarian, got you Gov. Moonbeam.

How is that working for you?

There are more registered Democrats than Republicans, so when the Independents, Libertarians and all other non registered Democrats or Republicans don't vote Republican then the Democrats win, plain and simple.

Being an idealist, does not win the game.

The left fights hard and dirty.

They understand the importance of gaining power and keeping it. They are not filled with noble idealism.

And no, the Republican party is not ideal, but it is far better than to socialism the Democrats give you, until we reform the Republican party or come up with a better one.

I just don't understand how non Democrats don't get it. They might as well give away their house, money, cars, sell the wife and kids and go live in the forest. Your no help in the effort to retain this country and the freedoms it offers, if you allow the Democrats to have power over you.

If this is such an important consideration NOW why didn't Republicans consider it important during the primaries? Romney has a proven track record of nominating liberal judges 75% of the time. Now all the stops are being pulled out to polish this turd.

The Demos out number the Repubs by such a large number that it makes no difference in California.

Besides, the Libertarians and Ron Paul by and large got it right.

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to — The Outer Limits.

    WE control your election too...

    Again, it's very simple.

Very few people participate in the primary process.

If you don't participate, you get what a small minority give you, and you have no right to bitch about it.

If your pride stands in the way of getting rid of Obama, then you will get four more years of him.

Only one of two people are going to win the office of the President, either Romney or Obama.

I wish it could be more than "which is worse," but it is what it is.

The Republican registration numbers have been declining and more people not declaring a party at all. So, understand, Romney will not win by the Republican vote by itself.

    Mindless

Of course you could not resist, leeches like you who feed off the public pocketbook, always resort to name calling when people expose you for what you are.

You are a fine example of your stupid leader, calling people prejudiced and rapists?

You are such a lamebrained fool.

And some of you wonder why people on the right are hostile.

Keep up your personal attacks and name calling, you little fool and I hope it gets you kicked off this site. You think calling a member of the Republican party a rapist is funny?

How about I call a child molester? You think that will be funny?

How about showing us your real name at the end of your posts, funny boy.

It would be better if you deleted your post, fool.

I think one looney represents the Republican party, when your side has Waters, Reid, Pelosi and Boxer just to name a few, that are the pillars of the Democrat Party?
