Does anyone know what year the first use of the term "Improved Modified" was used? This question would apply to either choke tubes or fixed chokes. Thanks.

I can remember the term back in the late 60's, if my memory hasn't failed me, so it's been out there for a while. It didn't seem popular, but it was there.

The first time I remember Imp mod. was in the late 60's and was called a skeet2 choke.

    ljutic231,

I believe that you have IM and LM mixed up.
