He went to the Missouri Fall Shoot and bought himself another trap gun.

Bought a really nice looking BT-69 or is that a BT-99? lol

Anyway, he gets it back home and he gets a new release trigger installed, and a new comb done, and a new adjustable butt pad and then he finally takes it out to the gun club.

Shot it pretty well if you ask me. Shot a 23-24-25. Not to shabby for the first time.

Who says you "old pharts" can't enjoy yourselves once in a while?

    Way to go James!!!

    Enjoy!

    Signed, "Young Phart" Hauxfan!

Actually, I didn't spend more money than Shootlow.

I traded my Kolar in on it and Shootlow didn't have a tradein.....So we both put out about the same money.

    Love the Ljutic!

Zardozforty, You're "longtime dead" comment was exactly why I bought my Ljutic.

When I first started shooting trap back in the early 70's, I wanted a Ljutic then, but with a family and everything going on, I couldn't afford one.

I've lusted after them for over 30 years, and I decided if I was ever going to have one, now was the time.

I bought it between the 16s and the handicap on Friday at the Missouri Fall Shoot.

Since I didn't have another gun to shoot, I had to shoot the new Ljutic.

Didn't know how I was going to do, as I had only shot a couple practice rounds with it.

I shot a 23-24-24-20=90 on handicap for the day. I think I would/could have done better if I hadn't started thinking about how good I was doing with this new gun.

This last week, I shot a Derby at Cedar Falls and tied for high gun, but lost it in a shoot off.

    Am I tickled?

Let's put it this way...........I'm as happy as a fox in a hen house.

Looking forward to many more good days shooting it.

    Hauxfan!

Good lordy, Martin, He can't stop buying guns for himself.

I've had maybe 5 trap guns in my life. He buys around 5 a year.......lol

I guess a person has to keep buying to they find that "right" one, don't they????....

Come to think of it, you got one at the Grand.......Hope you are doing well with it.........Hauxfan!
