Anybody remember Franken's old character on SNL? You know, the "Daily Affirmation" schtick with the gay old fart in the sweater talking into the mirror...

    Ha!

Al Franken - spending $17 Million in the midst of the greatest Democratic tsunami in generations - couldn't get himself elected! And now, if we're to believe it, there's a possibility Sarah Palin could wind up in the Senate, herself.

Can't you just feel the hot breath and spit droplets coming through your TV screen, as Tina Fey belts out her Palin impersonation 27 more times on SNL, knowing that the person she's impersonating is now a SENATOR, while SNL-alum Franken is beating off in a YMCA bathroom somewhere (attempting to re-create Larry Craig's magic moment - but without the benefit of a Senate business card)?

In times like these, you find your amusement where you can. Love it!

People like Al Franken, Barney Frank, Larry Craig, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry...what the fug is wrong with America...?

and John Kerry is on the short list for Sec State, pathetic leftist no better than Jane Fonda....

on another note, so far all of Obama's picks for staff and listed nominees for Cabinet positions are white folk..............

at what point does he become an "Uncle Tom" to the faithful black folk out there....when does Oprah say Duhhhhhhhh.....

becoming very interesting to say the least...

    regards

One pet theory is that about 50% of the American citizens are total morons...this is close, actually the front page of the paper gives the exact number as 52% - these are people who are convinced that an unknown, but effective salesman, with the help of the liberal press should be our "leader". Get ready for the gun grab. Regards, Ed

This Franken-Coleman race depresses me more than the Obama/McCain race. Win or lose the fact that 1.2 million Minnesotans voted for Angry Al is disheartning. Don Miller

The two previous recounts in MN; in each case the Republican was ahead until the recount, then SURPRISE SURPRISE the demo won. On the O'reilly Factor, Bill O'reilly said, quote "HOW CAN ANY AMERICAN VOTE FOR SOMEONE LIKE AL FRANKEN". If you look at a map of the election, the metro and the northern old iron mining area are the blue area (shall I say WELFARE). MN has been a SOCIALIST state fore a long time. Remember MN was the only state that Regan didn't carry.
