I have a 30 foot aluminum flag poll in the front yard, my flag flies every day and night. I have a flood light on a photo cell that light the flag up. Yep, my flag flies 24/7.

Good thread Tom. Will be interesting to see how many TS.com people fly the American flag.

This is mengwe's wife. Very proud to be an American. Have one room in house devoted to red, white and blue patriotic items. Have thousands of items. Also am very proud and thankful to our daughter (and all the other thousands of men and women that are fighting for our freedoms) as she is in the Air Force reserves and has been in Iraq helping fly out injured soldiers to hospitals and to the U.S. My husband wears a red, whte and blue wrist band with the words Proud to be an American on it and hasn't taken it off in over 2 years. We have extra's of these wrist bands and if you would like one, pm us with your name and address and we be happy will send you one. Land of the Free -- Thanks to our Brave. God Bless America! Kathy & Mike.

up 24/7 since I bought my house and have the choice of doing what I want with my stuff. My low voltage lighting is not that good at night. I always look around when driving my car. I would say less than 20% of houses are flying the flag in some fassion. might increase to about 30% around the 4th. I live im commiechusetts.

Fly mine atop a 50 foot pole sitting 3700 feet above sea level in Northern Georgia 24/7. Also, if I'm at a shoot you can find my motor home by looking for ole glory atop a 25 foot pole. Finest piece of cloth in the entire world!

When we lived in Michigan our next door neighbors had an only son who was 3-4 years older than our oldest. We moved to Idaho in 1984 but stayed in touch. When he reached college age he went to Embry-Riddle in Arizona on a ROTC scholarship, and was commissioned in the Air Force after graduation. He eventually got into pilot training, and was assigned at least once to units enforcing the no-fly zone in Iraq before the current war started. He sent us a flag he carried with him over Iraq, and that is the flag flying on the front of my house today. Meanwhile my youngest son is in the Air Force stationed at Monterey CA, learning Mandarin.

Sadly, I am NOT flying an American flag this year.

I could not find one made in America. All the local retailers had were flags made in China. There's something basically wrong with that.

Have been flying my flag 24/7, under light for many years - with one exception, my Christian Flag is always flown above the US Flag - this nation was founded as ONE NATION UNDER GOD....
