Well...as duck/goose hunting re-opens on Friday, I was hoping for some snow & wind...but alas, it is not to be!

It's gonna be 43 deg., so I'll have to hunt wearing my friday Hawaiian (sp?) Gonzo shirt, shoot some ducks (hopefully) and catch a tan.

If you are in Alaska you are supposed to be tough or crazy(or both). My ex moved to Alaska with our two children. After several years of waiting outside for the school bus at -40 F the kids both moved back to 'warm' New York state. Elementary school outdoor recess was mandatory until it was colder than -20F.

When it snows you can shoot blizzard trap, you can see your shot string as it cuts a path through the snow flakes. HMB

Snow camo clothing (or white sheets), wrap your shotgun with white cloth, put in a super full turkey choke, Federal 3" #4 premium buckshot, a coyote caller, and go to work, man!

Never hunted lemmings (in fact, have never seen one), but foxes, hey, go for it.
