135th. One of the best backgrounds in trapshooting.

Best trophies for none residents that I have seen at any State Shoot. Big clubhouse with great food and lots of friendly people. Great targets.

The movie "Field of Dreams" must surely have been set in Bunker Hill, IL. I always think of that movie as i drive the small road between the corn fields and this beautiful Trap facility appears akin to the ball field in that movie.

I 100% agree with Joe with regards to trophies. Best trophies I've seen at ANY state shoot. Some of the bronzes they give away sale for over 200-300 a piece, and this is for out of state shooters. If you like nice trophies, Illinois is the place for you.

I was talking to IL Southern Zone director, Dennis Baker last week and he said they just "drain tiled" the facility to limit the mud problem we've had in the past. That'll probably keep the rain away and that's ok too.

Barry--Does he mean in the parking lot? That is the only complaint i have of the facility and something that is fixable. Some loads of rock would do wonders.

Yes. Concentration of water control on the parking lots. Should help a bunch.

I hope that it is a dry shoot..I purchased a four wheel drive car just for the Illinois and Mason Michigan shoots..I lucked out at the Wisconsin State Shoot because it was flooded while I was at the Motel. If It rains at Brittany can they perfume the grounds..Ya I know the Pigs smell like money to the farmers.
It has a great backround and nice targets..Big air conditioned clubhouse and great food.It is a well run shoot. The people running the shoot are first class.

I use those soft ear plugs in the nostrils for the smell. It's not pig poop but farm ground with hundreds of years of rotting plant matter. Just goes with cutting a facility out of farm ground.

The drainage improvements will help immensely.

Talk about trophies....the Illinois State Shoot has the BEST non-resident trophies I have ever see. I got lucky and finished non-resident 3rd in the final handicap last year. Look @ this trophy..... Cheap camera, lighting, and photographer does not do it justice!
