Thanks for the update t-bar. First time in seven years that I have not been at the Illinois State Shoot, hopefully next year the wife and I will be able to return. Great shoot and even better people.

Frank Payne (my dad) has finally busted out of his slump. Hope you tear em up the rest of the week dad.

By the way, that single target (the 97th bird out of the house) that Frank dropped on his way to a 99 cost him $4000 on the jumbo 50 that he played.

You are killing my inheritance dad, keep your head down!

Further evidnece maybe that you need to get a life.

News flash! Economic slowdown in progress, those who cannot afford to shoot trap spend money on housing, food, and essentials.

    Story at 11:00!

My granddaughter, Ashley Van Nuffelen will be shooting Wednesday(today) through Sunday. I appreciate seeing your updates for each day. Keep up the great work. With gasoline so high we don't come up for the state shoot anymore.
    Will watch for your postings.

I'd like to come to the Illinois state shoot to spend some of my tax rebate.
Where is this shoot held and if I come over Saturday morning will I still be able to sign up to shoot the 200 singles that day? Thanks, Ben

    Shotmaker,

Sorry I'm a little slow tonight. Your Grandaughter Ashley Van Nuffelen broke 96 in the hdcp today, and took Jr. Don't have all the scores for day, but can give you some of the high scores. Frankie Bentley broke 98 for high in state hdcp. Out of state Ron Carneal (Mo) and Tank Lunsford (In) had 99's. Junior shooter Jessica Hewett from Tn. broke 98 and took Jr. There were 28 punches today, says a lot about the target setting crew, even with windy conditions. I'll do a better job getting the rest of the scores on tomorrow.

New traps - targets are nice, even in the wind yesterday.

Keep up the good shooting Frank.

Big Bill I hope you get out there some too with that new K-80!

Ron, good luck to you. Hope you give some of the others a chance!

And finally, hi to all my other friends down in Illinois.

Congrats to my buddy k1200ltc509, aka Rick Gibbs, on winning Thursday's handicap with a 99 and shoot-off. Great shooting Rick. With 2- 99's in caps in the last 8 months, you'll get the real estate you were looking for this season. Keep it up! Harv
