    From Chi-town newspaper

Ill. Gov. Pat Quinn on Tuesday unveiled a caustic budget plan that would borrow billions of dollars to stay afloat and push even more debt down the road, hoping to persuade leery lawmakers to instead raise taxes in an election year.

Quinn aides warned the plan would cost some 13,000 teachers and staff their jobs, cut off poor seniors from help in paying for costly prescriptions and shut down some health care programs for the indigent. But even after about $2 billion in cuts, the state would still be $11 billion in the hole.

Ohio threw our asses out and Illinois built us a new home. The Sparta locals are ecstatic about us being there and go way out of their way to accomodate trapshooting.

So, by all means insult and ridicule them.

Everything south of I-70 needs to form their own state and leave the Chicago crooks and political criminals behind. This will allow them to fight for the remnants of a once great city that is now a culture of corruption and the next Detroit.

Just to let the good folks in Central Illinois know, we're happy to be in Sparta and plan to stay. After looking at the camp ground in Vandalia don't know why anyone would put up with that again.

More Democratic bull $hit, we need to stop patronage jobs and pay to play. If these @$$holes would stop stealing from us for a year or so we'd be in the black!

dadiooo: Without the northeastern part of the state, Illinois' tax base would be something like Mattoon's.

dadioo: I don't think Detroit ever got as corrupt as Chicago, there's not enough money here.

We need to get rid of Quinn, I think 6 years as Blago's assistant ruined him forever. We need to cut the bloated salaries, pensions, etc for the lazy crooks that are our alleged representatives. There is a lot of fat to be trimmed off the government budget in Illinois. Hopefully we the voters can make some changes in November.

Anything can happen in Illinois. Not many voters in Sparta Land.
