Ideal size for lead melting pot???

    What size would be best for a pot to melt lead in for making ingots?

    I like the 20 lb pots. Especially if your are blending lead from different sources.

    Mine is about 50 lbs. Working on a new one that will process about 125 lbs.

    I buy most of my high priced pots at my local thrift store for a couple of bucks. Many of the old strainer spoons have wooden handles also. Like Ajax stated, the turkey cooker legs will limit the pot. I might have a chance on a small gas (?) stove which would allow me big time cooking. Omaha
