They are huge if real. Must go 150 or better. Got to get a bigger gun.

I would say photo chopped. Either those guys are topping out at 120 lbs. or the wolves are 350 lbs.

NOT photoshopped..........3rd pic down, saw this wolf in person (big)
you can see the Salmon Valley below.

got a pack of 6 wolves just east of my house, (2 to 4 miles crow fly from my front door) if you do not live in Idaho, you have no idea what we are dealing with............they are nasty killing machines.

My friend took this black wolf in central Alaska back in 1994 during a moose hunt. We scale weighed him back at our cabin and he was just over 120 lbs. It looks a bit bedraggled because it fell in the river after being shot and sank to the bottom. We took turns diving in to fish it off the bottom; not exactly a pleasant swim in September in Alaska!

My friend is an honest 6 ft tall, so you can get some idea of the size of the wolf in comparison to him. This is why I'm a tad doubtful as to the authenticity of the previous photos...

I've had pets that are that big....120lbs is a small... large breed dog. Of course a 150+ dog can get pretty mean if he's provoked. A pack of Cujo's could be a hand full.

Carry plenty of treats when on their turf.

stokinpls, on another website, a friend of mine posted those two pics, said they're of his neighbor. Note the clothing matches in both pics. He shot both this week. Apparently that was one of five wolves killed by landowners in the area recently. They're fed up and are getting tags.

little keety,,,,,you should not take anything snopes says about hunting, guns, conservatism or anything truly American,,,,,,,similar to someone saying there is a gun club for whites only,,,,,,neither can tell the truth.....

This picture is also in my photos file it was taken or saved if you will on Date taken: 5/16/2009 4:39 PM. I saved it from this site on that day in a story about Canadian Wolf hunting.

They are picture number 1 and picture number 4 in the OP so to my way of thinking this Idaho thing is just so much BS.

For those that don't know, Snopes parent company is ABC news.

You have to look deep to find it, but it can be found.

    Why so deep? BIAS!!
