The Christmas Day bomber told investigators when they came to speak to him were told "I wont speak to you without my lawyers being present".
Remember, he is a criminal now, not a enemy combatant, not a terrorist nor a soldier, just a plain old criminal who was told by his lawyers," you dont have to say anything to anyone".
Is this what obamy had in mind? If he wasnt read his Miranda rights, he walks, free as a bird. No military anyone has the right to interrogate him.
Did you know by executive order the night of 17 Dec 2009 Obama changed a executive order giving International Police Organization jurisdiction over all citizens in the USA, rendering our constitution void to them. They have the power to go and do anything they want in the US, more power than the FBI or any other US law enforcement agency and they cant be stopped.

He also could get a free court appointed lawyer if he cannot afford one, compliments of American taxpayers.

Criminals dont walk if you dont read them their rights--- geez-- too much TV here.

The evidence is indisputable to convict him-- now the question is though is it better to call him an enemy and find out what intelligence he has on others?

    regards from Iowa

" If he wasnt (sic) read his Miranda rights, he walks, free as a bird"

Let's see. He was caught on the plane trying to set off a bomb. He had explosives sewed into his shorts. He has been traced to ties with terrorist organizations. His parents even turned him in as a suspect.

Yep. Sounds to me like "he walks, free as a bird" without Miranda rights. Do you realize how dumb you sound? You got your legal education where?

This is what happened to the German saboteurs who landed on the beaches in New York and Florida in 1942 and were arrested in June 1942. Contrast this with what is going on today with the Obama Administration.

"Roosevelt realized that neither the death penalty nor secrecy could be guaranteed in a civilian trial, so he issued a proclamation that established a military tribunal consisting of seven generals, the first to be convened in the United States since Lincoln’s assassination. The prosecutor was Attorney General Francis Biddle. The chief defense lawyer was Colonel Kenneth Royall, a distinguished attorney in civilian life and later President Harry Truman’s secretary of war."

"The trial, which was held in secret at the Justice Department, occupied most of the month of July 1942. Biddle accused the Germans of coming to America to wreak havoc and death, basing his accusations on their own confessions. The would-be saboteurs pleaded innocence, denounced Hitler and insisted they had had no intention of actually engaging in sabotage."

"The prosecution asked for the death penalty, the punishment required of spies during wartime, but it had a hard time making its case against Dasch and Burger, who had confessed so quickly and collaborated so completely."

"On July 27, the defense rested. The seven generals quickly prepared a report and sent it–and the 3,000-page trial transcript–to Roosevelt who, under his proclamation, was responsible for determining the time and place of execution if that was the tribunal’s sentence."

"On August 8, six of the eight German agents were electrocuted at the District Jail in Washington, D.C. Burger was sentenced to hard labor for life; Dasch was given 30 years."

That airline pilot should have radioed the tower that they had some turd to get rid of and turned around and when out over Lake Erie or Lake St. Clair at about 5,000 feet pushed the SOB out one of the doors and told any other camel n*t licker on the plane if they did not like it they could join him. End of story!!!!!!!

Espousing the death of another is a punishable offence. Period. Its just a matter of how much effort the local justice system wants to persue it. One example. A guy 2000 miles away in Virginia goes on the internet and claims he wants to murder the BART cop here in the San Francisco bay area that executed a young man last News Years. He gets 3 years in prison. Too bad O.J.'s wife couldn't get the L.A. police to believe her about O.J.'s repeated threats. BTW, even with video of the BART cop executing the young man he still hasn't been convicted. His defence? He thought he was holding his tazer gun when he pulled the trigger. Anyone here not know the difference between a tazer or handgun? Jim
