For one of the Greatest Shooters that ever graced a trapline.

Perhaps a moment of silence for ALL of our shooting friends that have passed?

Leo loved trapshooting and the trap shooting world loved Leo; I would hope 'Sparta' commenmorates something very special in his memory. Maybe a thousand trees planted at Sparta in Leo's memory would a nice start....

I cast my vote for a life size statue of Leo in front of the entry building at the Grand with all of his accomplishments for all to see!

It is so hard to believe that he is gone.

I like the idea of the Statue in from of the entry building or in front of the Hall Of Fame ... Leo was one of a kind and deserves to be remembered in some special way ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Ditto on the statue. I can't think of a more fitting idea for the entry to the Trap Hall of Fame than a life sized bronze statue of the man and his huge infectious smile. How does one go about getting something like this done? I am terrible at organizing things but would do more than my share to help.

A statue? Would not a funding program for junior trapshooters in his name be a more fitting use of money?

    Brain,

Why not both, but the problem would be when the kids who benefit by it quit there goes the memory of Leo and it goes with them, the Statue will still be there ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Brian, I think that will happen anyway but a statue for the man that stood above us all, now that would be something for everyone, not just youth trapshooting. A Leo just comes around once in a lifetime and it would be a great thing if we could see and admire him forever!

    Just my .02 cents worth.
