I've been out of electricity since Sunday....this is getting old. Everybody else seems to have power except me and a few of my weird neighbors. The guy next door bought a brand new Honda generator and didn't buy a gas can and the idiot behind me has been running his generator 24/7 and he's been keeping me up at night. I've already spent $90 in gas and I'm getting upset.

Maybe kitty is the problem. When have you seen him last? Look up at your transformer. Joe, if your electricity problems continue, let me know. You can stay at my cottage at the lake in Indiana. There is power, boats, and fishies there.

Tron, to get electricity you have to pay the utility bill. Try that. LOL, Mike

My power has just been restored! Let this be a lesson to all of you people who DO NOT HAVE generators. I learnt my lesson back in the big 03' outage and it was one of the best investments that I've ever made.

I've got a generator too and its a good thing. It never fails that the power goes out after a huge rain and I need to keep my sump pump going....and the beer cold.

For those thinking of large generators to power the whole house including central air-conditioning during outages and have a natural gas source, consider a generator powered by it. It'll save you multiple trips to the pump and the hazard of refilling a hot generator during prolonged black or brownouts.
