Piddy, I haven't seen anyone yet that didn't have an occasional bad day. Did you learn anything from it. Did it help you to control your anger/feelings. I have missed on the first station, first shot and I might as well have quit right there until I learned to get a grip. If I should happen to miss now I will set my mind to just settle for a 24. Jackie B.
well I shot alot worse than that! I broke 89 but I am tickled to death ! I shot a new gun today and had only shot 100 targets prior to ata reg.it won me d class honors and then i shot handicap23yd and broke a 94 to take my yardage group!!! yeah!
You might be like me shoot like S*** one day then the next day go Ape S***
Anyway I would rather be lucky every once in awhile instead of being a pretty good shooter all the time and always within a target or 2 of ever winning.
So just think of all the misses as being took out of the next event you shoot and maybe you will never miss the next time and you will bring home the bacon.
I shot sporting clays today. Or I should say I shot at sporting clays today. Many more O's than X's on the scorecard.
Just gotta keep your head down, remember the basics, and grind away. It'll come around. Or not.....
